Growing Tips: Here are some tips for growing edible plants and flowers in your raised garden bed:
Make sure to provide plenty of sunlight and water for your plants.
Use organic soil and fertilizers to ensure that your plants are healthy and free from harmful chemicals.
Consider companion planting, which involves planting two or more plants together that complement each other in terms of growth or pest control.
Practice crop rotation to avoid planting the same plants in the same spot year after year, which can deplete soil nutrients and increase the risk of pests and diseases.
By selecting a composition of different vegetables we can work on growing plants that will not only be beautiful but yummy once recollected. We find it´s also a great idea to get people involved. Our seniors love to feel revitalized eating their own grown tomatoes for the freshest salad. Vegetables, especially larger vegetables, need room to spread. Often times if you can allow more root space your plants will be better off. The Green Circle Garden can act as a hanging basket maximizing the amount of plant growth too. Melons or Cherry tomatoes can hang and trail and use the 44 Gal water reservoir to grow as big as the sunlight available lets them. Roots of larger plants will find their way into the bottom water reservoir, increasing root space and plant production.
