Replenishing soil

After a season or two there comes a time when you may want to replant and start from new. Replenishing the soil can can be done easily by removing and refilling with fresh growing medium. The textiles beneath will help remove all soil in a clump if needed and these plants can be transplanted to another area in the garden.

As you can see from the image we have placed strawberries on the outermost part of the planter so strawberries can hang and easily be picked when ripe. A potato plant has been trained to not occupy the valuable growing space and is a great companion plant providing plentiful potatoes below. In the coming weeks new growth will appear in the center which has been seeded with Cuca-melons, Cape Gooseberries. spinach and a Giant Sunflower.
